Shades of White

Hello all!  I've something new for you tonight, in between all those Encore posts... just a sneak peek here for a project over on the PaperArtsy blog tonight.

The theme for this fortnight is Shades of White, and I've been playing with light and movement again.  I hope you'll have a chance to pop over and take a look at what I've been up to.  Short and sweet, but I'll be back again before you know it!  Thanks for stopping by and I'll see you soon.

White... is not a mere absence of colour; it is a shining and affirmative thing, as fierce as red, as definite as black...

This idea may be the one I need for my outside light display. At night we have wonderful yard lights but in the day, nothing. So having styrofoam mean tray ornaments hanging in the bushes or from trees should be just the thing to decorate for far away viewing. Thanks for a great idea - and recycled, too!

Alison, what a creative way to use Seth's wood pieces!! This is thinking way outside the box and I totally love It! What a wonderful way to use Seth's corresponding stamps as well! Great tutorial.

This is just fabulous - I'm always a huge fan of white and this is perfect in every way. The stamps work so well with the shapes and I love the gloss against the matt - really makes it stand out. You did a great job photographing it too - couldn't have been an easy job!
Also, thank you Alison for your visits to my blog - I've not been in the best of places on and off this year and I greatly appreciate all your generous and kind comments. Diana xx

The white on white effects are stunning with wonderful and subtle changes to light and dark and matt and glossy finishes that you captured so well in your photographs. The mobile idea with wire worked perfectly xxx
